Forthcoming books are Business Lessons from the Edge (McGraw-Hill, co-authored with Jim McCormick, August 2009), 365 Ways to Get a Good Night’s Sleep (Adams Media, co-authored with Ronald Kotler, MD, Fall 2009), and A Spy in Business (working title) (AMACOM, co-authored with Peter Earnest, Spring 2010). Others are Rangers Lead the Way: The Army Rangers’ Guide to Leading Your Organization Through Chaos (Adams Media, co-authored with Dean Hohl, 2003); Dr. David Sherer’s Hospital Survival Guide (co-author David Sherer, MD, Claren Books, 2003); Diets Designed for Athletes (Human Kinetics, 2001); Empowering Underachievers: How to Guide Failing Kids (8-18) to Personal Excellence (co-author Dr. Peter Spevak, New Horizon Press, 2000; second edition released Spring 2006); Lessons from the Edge: Extreme Athletes Show You How to Take on High Risk and Succeed (Simon & Schuster, May 2000); Boot Camp: The Sergeant’s Fitness and Nutrition Program (co-author Patrick “The Sarge” Avon, Simon & Schuster, Jan 1999); and Telemedicine: What the Future Holds When You’re Ill (New Horizon Press, 1994). Earlier in her career, she served as Director of Communications for a prominent lobbying organization in Washington, DC. Prior to that, she managed a professional theater and raised funds for arts and education programs in the Nation’s Capital. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in speech and drama from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
